FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Yes.  We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Cross Blue Shield State and Federal plans, Aetna, Cigna, and United.  If you do not have one of these types of insurances we are happy to provide a superbill to give to your insurance company so you may be reimbursed based on the benefits of your plan.  If this is something you need help with or have questions about, our clinicians will be happy to assist you.  (If you have insurance but do not wish to use your insurance, we are happy to work with you to make you feel comfortable. )

WHAT MODALITIES OF THERAPY DO YOU OFFER?

At Executive Wellness we provide services to our clients using evidence-based treatments and modalities. Some of these modalities include EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Guided Imagery and Music (GIM), and Solution Focused Therapy.

WHAT IS THE GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE?

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

 • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

 • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

 • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

 • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We want to help you thrive as soon as possible! Frequent cancellations disrupt the flow of treatment and it delays progress.

Therapy sessions are usually scheduled for a 53 minute slot. Because the appointment is reserved for you, it is necessary to charge you for appointments that are not canceled at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to provide a 48-hour notice of cancellation generally means that some other person is not able to use that appointment time.

If you cancel or miss 3 or more of your scheduled appointment times within 2 months, Executive Wellness reserves the right to terminate our treatment together and provide you with appropriate referrals to other professionals, as we often have an active waitlist for services. Additionally, if you cancel our initial assessment, we also reserve the right to terminate and refer out.

The cancellation fee is $100. Lastly, no future sessions will be scheduled until you have paid for your missed or canceled appointment.

WHAT IS TELEHEALTH?

Telehealth services allow for people to meet in the comfort of their own homes.  Due to the COVID pandemic, telehealth services have become an excellent option to healthcare that makes it easy for people to still meet with their providers and feel safe. Research has shown that telehealth services are just as effective as meeting in person, but from the comfort of your own home!
