My approach tends to be more direct, honest, and forthcoming. Everything I do with you centers around trust and safety. I want you clients to feel safe, to feel heard, and feel like you have a space to have a voice. I will use several different evidence based modalities with you which may include, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Guided Imagery and Music (GIM), and Mindful Self- Compassion.
I work with you, individually, to create a unique treatment plan that addresses your goals for counseling. We will discuss the different approaches I use and together, we will choose what feels like the best fit for you!
